“ This was a cute little place we hit on by chance. The service was great and the food was amazing. Looking forward to going again. ”
“ I can't wait to go back. I had the spicy noodles with shrimp and it was cooked perfect. The shrimp were big and tasty and they didn't skimp. My friend had the pho and she's obsessed. Highly recommend!! Service was great and friendly too! ”
“ This place is ridiculously cute as a button. Small, sweetly decorated and full of light. But let's get down to business - FOOD! They bring you out some little snacks & sweet and sour sauce to eat while you wait for the main event. The menu has lots of options from bahn mi, noodles and most in between. So far we have tried: - spring rolls, they come out how so looked out! Crispy and delicious - shrimp tempura, very meaty with light batter and a spicy sauce - fresh spring rolls, also very meaty with amazing peanut sauce - pad thai, this doesn't really taste like any other pad thai I have had but in a good way. The sauce is very light and the noodles are thin and chewy. The meat is always cooked just right BUT my absolute favorite is the Luc Lac beef. It is so tender and flavorful I could eat it every day and would if I could. Service is always polite and fast. My only complaint is we didn't find this place sooner. ”
“ Very nice casual restaurant. They serve a variety of asian fusion dishes. I ordered the Luc Lac Beef while my husband ordered their Lemongrass Chili Steak. We liked the flavors of our food and the presentation was nice as well. The beef was sooo tender which we loved! Our plates came with lots of vegetables which made us satisfied. Our only complaint is the rice because it was dry and hard. It seemed like it was day old rice. They also offer wonton chips and sweet and sour sauce while waiting for your meal. The staff here are so nice and friendly. We were served by a sweet lady and was also helped by a man who appreciated our visit. ”
“ A family member brought me here and I was really looking forward to it. It met and went beyond even the high expectations I had. I had one of the options of rice, I believe it was the shrimp and pork rice, and it was the best rice I've ever had! It was also really calm and the atmosphere was nice. The music wasn't even too loud and it was perfectly in-between loud and barely audible. Would reccomend trying this place and I will probably go again! ”
“ We came out to the area on an errand & took a chance. Jackpot! The best Vietnamese food we have ever had. The papaya salad was super fresh. The wings incredible! Airport Chicken was perfection. The service was outstanding. Nice family. We will make the hour plus drive to go back there. ”
“ This Pad Kee Mao was the best I've ever eaten. It was full of flavor, noodles weren't mushy, everything including chicken and veggies were the perfect texture. I tried pho before at Chopstix and I didn't like it and thought I won't be back but eating this drunken noodle dish changed my mind! ”
“ My wife and I decided to have some lunch here on our way to McMinnville and we are glad that we did. The beef/shrimp spring roll appetizer was really fresh and crunchy and complimented very well by the peanut sauce; likewise the spicy wings were mouth watering with the perfect amount of spice. We finished off with the orange chicken which was wonderfully crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. Will definitely be stopping again on our way back home. ”
“ We arrived at 6pm on a cold Saturday night in December and were greeted promptly upon entering. There was only one other table seated in the restaurant when we arrived so we almost had the place to ourselves. And while we waited for our food the staff was fulfilling several to go orders, which gave me a strong sense that our meal was about to be good. We chose a two-top by the window and ordered soon after: crispy egg rolls, wonton soup, beef pho and the airport chicken. Because we ordered so much food, we decided to move to a 4-top nearby, lol. Service was excellent, outstanding actually. Each member of the staff greeted us and asked us how the food was. And the food was incredible. The crispy egg rolls were just that, crispy with tangy dipping sauce. The airport chicken was fried perfectly, crispy on the outside and tender inside. My husband enjoyed the beef pho while I ate the won ton soup which was super filling because it also has noodles and tons of veggies. Each item had great flavor and was a hearty portion size. By the end of the meal I was totally stuffed but still managed to order a Thai iced tea with boba, to go. :) I'll happily return. ”
“ I'm newer to the Portland area and I am a picky eater when it comes to Vietnamese food, having grown up with Viet food! It's been hard to find one of those good, homey restaurants that have a nice, rich broth and even better appetizers. I was brought out to Chopstix with a friend who really enjoyed this place, and I was a bit skeptical because there isn't any Vietnamese on the menu, however... it exceeded all expectations! First, it really does smell like a cozy Vietnamese restaurant when you come in. The waitress was quiet and kind. David, I assume the owner, was great conversation and we talked a bit about Vietnam and the opening of the restaurant. It just felt like family! The crispy egg rolls were really great! I feel like it's so rare to get jicama but it's so good. They had the perfect amount of meat to veggies ratio. I ordered the beef pho. The steak was well done and the broth was perfectly seasoned--not too sweet or salty. It was perfect for rainy PNW weather. I'll be back to try their other dishes! ”
